2011 Explorations: Around London Town

It’s easy to get into the routine of life and stop exploring where you live.  To combat this I try to experience something new or visit a new area of London every once in a while.  Below are the new places I ventured to around London in 2011.  The diversity of it all is actually quite amazing.  The one exception is the Columbia Road flower market.  I included it because it had been a while since I had been there and it is one of my favourites.

Electric Avenue/Brixton Village

Little Venice

Natural History Museum

Thames Flood Barrier

Alternative London Tour – East London

Changing of the Guard

Lovebox Music Festival

Battersea Park (Peace Pagoda)

Highgate Cemetery

Hampstead Heath

Kensington Palace – The Enchanted Palace Exhibit (War Room)

Columbia Road Flower Market

  1. What a great collection of activities. I love that out of everything you did, I’ve only been to two of them (one with you and one because of you!) It just goes to show how much there is to do in this city.

What say you?
